ABSTRACT
Robinow syndrome is a rare genetic disorder characterized by craniofacial, genital, and limb anomalies. While several corrective procedures for skeletal and facial deformities have been documented, the surgical correction of eyelid malposition in this syndrome has not been previously reported. We present the case of a 12-year-old male with Robinow syndrome and bilateral scleral show due to lower eyelid deficiency. Surgical correction was performed using a muscle-periosteal flap for lower eyelid reinsertion, combined with bilateral canthopexy. Postoperative evaluation demonstrated significant functional and aesthetic improvement, with adequate eyelid apposition to the globe and resolution of scleral exposure. The surgical technique, though established for other eyelid deformities, had not been previously applied in Robinow syndrome. This report documents the first known case of successful surgical correction of scleral show in this condition, demonstrating the feasibility and functional benefits of the surgical approach adopted in this unique clinical context.

ABSTRACT
Madelung's disease (MD) is a rare adipose-tissue condition characterized by multiple symmetrical lipomatous accumulations in the maxillofacial and cervical regions, the trunk, and the limbs. It sporadically affects individuals and is associated with a history of alcoholism. The aesthetic and functional impairments caused by this syndrome involve various aspects that justify the need for a Plastic Surgery approach. This paper reports the case of a male patient diagnosed with MD and treated with the aim of rehabilitation. A serial resection of the cervical lesions was chosen, with the performance of dermolipectomies and local flaps for reconstruction, along with resection of the submandibular glands and preservation of the adjacent nerve structures. The patient will later undergo further evaluation for treatment of the remaining lesions. The etiology of MD is unclear, but some factors are associated with its development, such as alcoholism, HIV infection, and metabolic disorders, including excessive insulin secretion, hyperuricemia, renal tubular acidosis, dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, as well as thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, and testicular function alterations. Despite its benign course, MD leads to significant psychosocial consequences, and surgical intervention aims to mitigate the effects of the deformities to restore the health of the affected patient.

ABSTRACT
Amniotic band syndrome (ABS) is defined as a condition in which chorioamniotic constriction occurs in fetal parts, causing congenital scars. Most commonly, it affects the upper and lower limbs and can cause growth restriction in the affected region. It can also result in intrauterine amputations, lymphedema, congenital clubfoot, syndactyly, and death. The stratification of the condition is given by the Patterson scale, which takes into account the ring formation and its consequences for the affected part. The objective of this work is to report the case of a female patient following an uneventful pregnancy who suffered involvement of the left lower limb by ABS. The scar caused growth restriction, requiring surgical repair treatment. We opted for the Wplasty approach, so that, in the immediate and late postoperative period, the scar retraction was properly corrected, without signs of dehiscence or inflammation in the region.
